Olivia Assi-Adou

Olivia is the founder of our clinic and a Canadian-trained physiotherapist with over 20 years of clinical experience. She graduated from the University of Alberta in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy and went on to complete her acupuncture certification through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute in 2006.

Since relocating to the Sunshine Coast with her family in 2023, Olivia has built strong collaborative networks with local medical specialists and allied health clinicians. For her clients, this means access to a highly integrated network of care tailored precisely to their functional goals.

Olivia's diverse clinical background spans sports injuries, geriatrics, post-operative rehabilitation, complex pain, and return-to-work programming. Blending modern evidence-based practice with traditional Eastern modalities, her holistic treatment approach frequently incorporates Chinese acupuncture and cupping to optimise recovery.
