Jo Bentley

Jo Bentley is a Senior Physiotherapist with a dual degree in Physiotherapy and Sport & Exercise Science and 19 years of clinical experience across Australia and the UK. Since relocating to the Sunshine Coast in 2009, Jo has worked across private practice and acute hospital settings, developing extensive experience in the management of musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, neurological, and complex spinal disorders. She has a particular clinical interest in the assessment and treatment of neck pain, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction and headaches.

Jo combines strong clinical reasoning with a patient-centred, evidence-based approach to care. She believes that successful outcomes begin with listening to each patient's story, building trust, and ensuring every person feels informed, supported, and actively involved in their recovery.

Her treatment approach integrates education, hands-on manual therapy, targeted exercise rehabilitation, and personalised management strategies to restore movement, improve function, and optimise long-term outcomes.

Jo is also a DMA-qualified Pilates instructor and has completed postgraduate training in Dry Needling/Western Acupuncture and the Watson Headache® Approach, further enhancing her expertise in the management of complex musculoskeletal and headache presentations.
